True to yourself?

     We are often bombarded with different views and ideas of who we should be, these messages sadly comes from friends and family most of the time. We live in a world where we no longer care about being real.....or at least most people don't. It's hard to rise above the blues and be yourself, but at the end of the day, it's a choice that we all have to make. I know that I've struggled for a long time with being who I am. I only recently discovered the real me, The day you stop caring about other people's opinion of who you should be, and how you should act, is the day you will truly peel off that layer and become "YOU". I admire people who are different, people who know who they are, people like that would not get offended from an insult, or get an inflated ego, because they know who they are.
    I've discovered that the best way to find yourself, is to stop conforming to society's views of;
  1. Beauty
  2. How our bodies should look
  3. What kind of a home we should have or own
  4. The cars we drive
  5. The clothes we wear
  6. The amount of money in our accounts
  7. How skinny/curvy we should be, and the list goes on.
  Like I said before, I struggled to find myself until I stopped and evaluated my life to see why I was stuck, I used to compere myself to other people and that can make you so miserable. I stopped doing that and started counting my blessings instead, I started enjoying the difference that I had from other people. Why fit in, if you were born to stand out? being different is amazing, it's your own unique mark, we should celebrate our differences, not avoid and sweep them under the rug. Be true to yourself, you were fearfully(Remarkably) and wonderfully made.
